Whether you've suspected it for years or recently started wondering, understanding whether you have ADHD can clarify a lot — about how you focus, how you move through the world, and why certain things feel harder than they look. Our screening assessment gives you that clarity. The outcome guides what comes next, whether that's therapy, formal diagnosis, strategies, or support.

ADHD screening & therapy in Wimbledon, Horsham and online.

Managing it is not the same as it being fine.

You have probably been doing this a long time. Systems on top of systems. Reminders set for the reminders. A working day that takes roughly twice the effort it appears to from the outside, and an evening spent recovering from it.

Whether you have a diagnosis, suspect one, or have simply stopped expecting your attention to go where you send it, there is structured psychological work that helps.

ADHD in adults is frequently missed, and frequently exhausting.

Most adults who reach us have built coping strategies that work — just well enough to keep everything upright, and at a cost nobody else can see. The feedback in a meeting that lands far harder than it should. The tiredness that comes from running a mind at odds with the rooms it spends its days in. The years of masking, and what they quietly take.

These are recognised clinical presentations, not character flaws. And they respond to psychological work.

Therapy and screening are two different things.

ADHD therapy. With or without a formal diagnosis, ACT-informed therapy works with the psychological patterns that tend to travel with ADHD: avoidance, overwhelm, emotional dysregulation, and the difficulty of acting on what matters when your attention has other ideas. Available as weekly sessions or as part of the six-session programme.

Adult ADHD screening. For those who want a clearer picture before deciding what to do next, we offer a structured screening session — 50 to 60 minutes, in person, working through your history and how ADHD traits show up in your life now. You leave with a written summary of what we found.

This is not a diagnosis. In the UK, an ADHD diagnosis can only come from a psychiatrist, a specialist ADHD nurse, or an appropriately qualified clinical psychologist. If your screening suggests a formal assessment is worth pursuing — for medication, workplace adjustments, or a Disabled Students' Allowance application — we will say so plainly and set out the routes open to you, including NHS Right to Choose.

Some people find the screening is enough on its own. Others use it to decide whether a formal assessment is worth the wait and the cost. Both are good reasons to book.
