A practice built on depth.

Eunoia Health is a private psychological therapy practice. We exist for people who are coping on the outside and quietly struggling on the inside — the ones other people lean on, who don't know how to ask for help, and who have spent too long treating their mental health as the last thing on the list.

The name comes from a Greek word meaning "beautiful thinking." It carries the belief at the centre of the practice: that a well-functioning mind is worth investing in before things break down.

Albie Mew-Davies

BACP Registered Therapist · MBACP 415049

Albie is a BACP-registered therapist specialising in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, with a particular clinical focus on anxiety and OCD. He practises clinically at the Priory Group in inpatient mental health — one of very few private practitioners working simultaneously in outpatient and inpatient settings. The clinical range matters: it means he works with real complexity, not just mild presentations.

He guest-lectures on ACT at Canterbury Christ Church University and is the author of Beyond Not Knowing (2026), a clinically-grounded guide to moving forward when clarity feels out of reach. He takes a small number of private clients each month.

His approach is structured, precise, and empathetic without being sentimental. He takes the work seriously. He takes his clients seriously.

Louise McAuliffe

Co-founder & CEO

Louise runs everything that isn't the therapy. Her background is commercial operations at scale — Global Go-to-Market Operations at Trustpilot, Strategy and Operations EMEA at Amazon Web Services (AWS) — alongside a decade in UK qualifications and regulation that gave Eunoia its instinct for standards and evidence.

She is the founding director of Eunoia Community CIC, a separate mission-locked organisation that raises grant funding to deliver subsidised therapy for people who couldn't otherwise access it. She is also the author of How To Start a Business for £100 (2026).

We're not here to follow trends—we're here to build something timeless. Mental health has its own churn: the app of the year, the coach with the framework, the language that changes every few months. We've deliberately stayed out of that. What we offer is older and slower — a structured, evidence-based approach, delivered by the same clinician, session after session, for as long as it actually takes.

Albie brings the clinical depth: BACP-registered, trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, practising in inpatient mental health as well as here. Louise brings the structure that lets that depth reach the people who need it. Together, that's Eunoia — rigour without the coldness.

We'd rather be the practice you come back to in five years than the one that trended for a season.

Who We Are

Why ACT?

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is a third-wave Cognitive Behavioural Therapy recognised by NICE. It doesn't ask you to challenge your thoughts or replace them with positive ones. It changes your relationship to them — developing psychological flexibility so you can act on what matters even when life is difficult.

Every client at Eunoia begins with a proper psychometric baseline — GAD-7, PHQ-9, and AAQ — so progress is measured, not just assumed. The work is structured. You will always know what you're working on and why.

Eunoia Community CIC

Eunoia Community CIC (Company No. 17185494) operates alongside — but independently from — Eunoia Health Ltd. It is a Community Interest Company: mission-locked, asset-locked, and publicly accountable. It raises grant funding and uses it to pay for structured therapy for adults with anxiety, OCD, low mood, or work-related stress who cannot afford private care.

The CIC uses the same clinicians and the same clinical approach as Eunoia Health. The therapy is not a watered-down service. The care is the same care a private client would receive.
